  2nd - the prices at this store are astronomical. As such, there is even more personal financial loss when the product is defective and can't/won't be addressed.

  Staff ready to help, very knowledgeable. My plan was to travel to Toronto to buy hiking boots. Someone told me to try wild rock first. I'm glad I did. They listened to my feedback on a pair, then brought me a pair that addressed my concerns. They stick with you until you find a pair you love. Just like say yes to the dress, but outdoor edition.

  1st - selling products (winter boots) unlikely to get tested sufficiently prior to "warranty" expiration is shady.

  3rd - staff are poorly trained. I fully informed the sales person that the boot was over 1 year old and he still told me to come BACK in and that they could contact the manufacturer or try to fix the boot. So I did just that on a brittle morning only to find my time is now wasted also as I was told 1 year had passed and there was no offer to fix (or even take a close look at) the boot.

  So, our family won't shop here anymore. We do try to support the local economy but the price and service levels are not sufficient for us to return. Wildrock "can't do anything" to remedy my boot and all I can do is write this review and let our money do the talking elsewhere.
