  Very clean, excellent staff at desk, loved the signs around the lobby including free morning coffee. Everything made very clear by these signs, good parking and location. Bed very comfortable and lighting outstanding!! Both of us able to read no problem at night. Super heating.

  During a very tough time for my family, this was one of the last available lodgings in Peterborough. A hockey conference left little choice. But this was perfect. Rooms are a bit small compared to other hotels, but we were only there to sleep, so that didn't bother us at all. Nice and quiet and very comfy beds.

  If I could give this hotel less than 1 star, I would. The staff was impolite and unhelpful. Upon our first night of arriving, we noticed that our room did not have a fridge. When bringing this to the attention of front desk staff, they informed us that they would bring one the following day. The next day, my friend brought this to their attention again. They said it would be coming later in the day. Now, I understand that all amenities are not guaranteed, but being told multiple times that we would receive something and not receiving it is frustrating. The next morning, we brought this to the attention of front desk staff again and informed them that my friend had brought food for storage and had to dispose of it do to it going bad. If we had been told that we were not receiving a fridge, we could have prepared by bringing a cooler or purchasing one. This was not the only problem that occurred. One of our light bulbs was out and upon bringing it to the attention of housekeeping, the response was "We didn't have any last week but I will check again". Upon checking, she informed us that there were still no light bulbs. Over a week without any? What hotel doesn't have these things on site? There was also issues with noise where people would pace up and down the hallway until all hours of the night and nothing was done about it even when we brought it to staff's attention. The shower was also not clean which was frustrating as well considering we were staying for multiple days and obviously care about proper hygiene. After venting all of our frustrations to the manager upon checking out, she responded by placing the blame on us and saying we didn't bring it to their attention (we mentioned it every day on more than one occasion). She then with a unprofessional demeanor said that she would discount us 50% of the cost, which for two nights would have been about $83 at least. However, she only refunded us $10. We were also told we should've asked to switch rooms, but when we had done this, we were told there was no other rooms (despite there only being 6 cars in the parking lot). False advertising, unprofessional staff, and poor room maintenance makes for an exhausting and disappointing stay. We will not be staying here again and will recommend to anyone thinking of staying here to stay as far away as possible.

  To make it worse, the poor girl on the front desk was brand new and left alone on a Thursday night had no idea what to do but move us. She was wonderful and courteous.

  Room #2 just had a beautiful new floor put in and we were guaranteed that we were the first people in that room. However, when we were getting ready for bed, we found blood on the pillow cases and a drip on the floor. After making sure that neither one of us was bleeding we were put in a different room.

  There was dried blood on my bed sheets. They argued and said it was from me. It wasn't. They knew better, But still tried to lie. Got $45 off my room after persistent argument

  I thought I would give myself sometime to cool down but I still feel the same. I have stayed at this hotel on a number of occassions with no problem.

  Room #1 was adjoining but wasn't a big deal until the men started smoking pot in their room and it came under my door.
