  Everything was great other then Kendell at the front desk. Absolutely disrespectful. Take whatever she says with a grain of salt. She knows nothing about the Holiday Inn guidelines and about respecting guests. On a positive note the manager the next morning was very helpful and kind. I explained to her what happened and instantly made a call to head office and stated that she would also have a meeting with her.

  Great stay. The room was nicely renovated and had lots of plugs and USB ports by the bed, which is always useful. The buffet breakfast was pretty decent, with scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, fruits, oatmeal, and some baked goods. Also used one of the banquet halls while we were there, and had a delicious buffet dinner. Overall, a very nice place to stay as well as to have a banquet. The only thing I didn't like was that there's not enough insulation between rooms - I didn't hear anything else, to be fair, but a neighbour had a phone conversation in the bathroom in the middle of the night, and it was very loud.

  Newly renovated rooms are huge improvement. No carpet in rooms, makes it feel much cleaner, nice finishes. Bathroom is a little cramped, but nice vanity and good lighting. Room was clean and quiet, no issues.

  Two week stay Dec 2017: the unique indoor outdoor WARM salt water pool is why we choose this hotel. Our room is immaculate. Love the fact their are NO carpets in the updated rooms. The front desk staff are awesome. Everyone (except one snotty cleaning girl & 1 who didn't clean well) are friendly, offering to carry in our parcels & responding to our needs very quickly. Maintenance responded immediatelty to a minor issue. He was very professional, & fixed the issue quickly. The workout room is antiquated but functional with water & tv.
