  Terrible warranty doesn't cover anything internal, i.e. springs, frame, reclining mechanisms, etc... Being as those are areas least effected by wear and tear you would think they would back their worksmanship, but, alas here we are.. They used a knotted crappy piece of wood for the the back top rail of the sectional and, of course, it crumbled to pieces at the slightest pressure.. Their customer service informs me that they don't care because they were already paid in full and don't care about mine or anyone elses future business.. Nice.. So folks make sure you cut open the furniture in the showroom to make sure they're not using old skids to make your couch.. As they did mine

  Hello Keith you said we were trying to embarrass you and your staff in your reply to my post, but it is very apparent that you don't need your customers to embarrass you, you do a GREAT job of it yourself. I wonder how many of the 5 star ratings you wrote yourself or had friends or staff write. Thanks Tara for letting the world now what kind of owner is operating Heritage Furniture Peterborough and Kingston. I know for sure we will never waste our money here again. We work to hard to be treated with disrespect. As for Better Business Bureau anyone who takes time to write a complaint is a negative for your business, I am not sure how you feel that you won? I am not the only complaint, so keep dreaming!

  Between my parents and myself, we have spent many thousands at this location over the years. Overall the experience is very good. The Palliser furniture is always an amazing buy and wait time can be a little long. However people should realise that it's Canadian made and well built. Not Chinese mass produced stuff from other stores. So sometimes it does take time. Currently I am awaiting a Stearns and Foster mattress as well as bed frame that I bought on black friday sales. Just was informed all of items have arrived and should be out shortly. I have personally never had a problem with the store itself. My sectional from Palliser was a denim like material that ripped and was repaired under warranty. Unfortunately it ripped again soon after. If I knew this material wasn't that reliable probably wouldn't have gone with it many years ago. The structure and build of the furniture however is unmatched by anything I have bought anywhere else.

  The store is much bigger than what you see from the road. The staff was very helpful. If you're looking for furniture, a great place to check out.
