Today I had one of the worst costumer experiences I’ve ever had at any store, I often shop here because I enjoy thrifting and have been shopping at this particular location for many years. I bought several things including a coat that had the zipper ripped so I asked if I could get a discount because of the damage, the manager said no but I was okay with that because I really liked the jacket and I was willing to take it home and fix it, well the cashier continued to check out the rest of my items and the manager I believe her name was Heather went on to mumble in a rude tone saying only what I can imagine was slander, I leave the store and get home and notice the shirt I had picked out for my son was missing so we drive all the way back and the shirt was sitting on the counter, i wait in line to talk to the cashier again but before I can the manager comes to grab the shirt and I said “oh actually I was going to get that for my son, it wasn’t rang through the last time I came through” and she responds “well you must’ve said you didn’t want it or else it wouldn’t have been put here” and I said back “no I have no clue why it wasn’t rang through” she then turned and walked away shaking her head, I have no clue what I did wrong, I’m a very peaceful person and never expected to be treated like this. If I were the owner I wouldn’t want someone like this representing my store. I got home and called my friend to vent about the experience and my friend told me that she actually had expierenced something similar with the manager at the lansdowne place value village. I don’t think i’ll ever go back there.

Good value at the Village. Tons of good used stuff that still has a lot of life left in them.

Used to be a main haunt of mine in the mid 2000s. Found a lot of vintage video games back then. Real treasures! Nowadays it's wickedly overpriced. In some cases you could pay less for a new unused equivalent in a department store. Check Vinnies for deals first. Thank me later.
